Boys Head Coach:  Will Glover

A proud member of the Lawrence Central class of 2005, William Glover was a 2004 Indiana Track All-Star and key member of the 2005 State Champion team where he won the 100m dash and currently holds the school record for the 100m Dash. Coach Glover is a 2010 graduate of Indiana where he ran track for the Hoosiers and was team captain from 2008-2010.William Glover began coaching sprints at LC during the 2014-2015 season.  In his time as an assistant coach, He has guided numerous LC athletes to outstanding finishes at the IHSAA State Championships. Those include:

2021 Girls 100m Dash State Champion, Taylor Herbert.
2023 Boys 100m Dash State Champion, Elijah Jackson
2023 Boys 4X100m relay state runners-up 

Girls Head Coach: Chandler Ball

Coach Ball graduated in 2013 from LC where he ran both Cross Country and Track for the Bears. Coach Ball was selected to the 2012 All-State Cross Country team and a multiple-time individual state finalist for both Track and Cross Country. He was a member of the 2012 Track and Field State Championship team. Coach Ball went on to compete at Marian University and graduated in 2017 as a multiple-time NAIA All-American and contributed to multiple Conference titles in Indoor/Outdoor Track and Cross Country and an NAIA National Championship.

Coach Ball began his coaching career in the fall of 2017 at Belzer Middle School where he led the Bears to the Boys Cross Country Marion County Championship. The following school year Coach Ball joined the staff at LC where he served as an assistant coach for both cross country and track from 2018-2022. Coach Ball coached the Sectional Champion 4x800 relay in 2021. Coach Ball returned to Lawrence Central this fall as our head cross country coach after serving as an assistant coach at Butler University. Coach Ball currently works remotely full-time at Purdue University as a Cybersecurity Instructor and is pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity Management from Purdue University
