Lawrence Central Girls Basketball is led by head coach, Jannon Lampley. She was the Ohio Division II High School Player of the Year in 1993 and played collegiate basketball at Purdue. Coach Lampley was a member of the 1994, 1995, and 1997 Big Ten champions and played in the 1994 NCAA Final Four. She was also the 1997 Big Ten Player of the Year and a second team USA Today/Parade Magazine All-American. After college she played for the Orlando Miracle of the WNBA. Coach Lampley was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
