Coach Haddix is stepping into the role of head girls coach in the first year of IHSAA recognition for girls wrestling. He has previously served as an assistant on the boys staff the past three years and spent significant time growing our girls program. He is a graduate of Jennings County High School where he wrestled for the Panthers. He was co-captain of the team his senior year and was the 2002 ISWA Folkstyle State runner-up.

He continues to compete in a variety of freestyle tournaments and placed third at the USA Folkstyle Nationals in 2023.

Coach Haddix is retired from active duty with the United States Air Force where he served 20 years and reached the rank of master sergeant. While in the Air Force he was coaches at Cabrillo High School, Will C. Wood High School and Vanden High School all in California and Central Middle School in Belleville Illinois. He is a teacher at McKenzie in the business department and has a Master's Degree in Education/Sport Performance and Leadership.
